Double Trouble

Via Springwise, this twin baby clothing website, Tot-a-Lot, got me all broody this morning.
Designed for babies and toddlers, these clothes are very cute. Normally I’m not a fan of dressing children identically, although my daughters sometimes ask to have the same outfits despite being 3 years apart in age. These clothes are to be bought in pairs and whilst similarly themed they are not exact replicas. It’s an extended version of the idea of “matching clothes” for twins: two garments which complement each other in aspects such as patterns, prints, colours, embroidery or concept.
The garments, which are 100% cotton and designed for all seasons, include: bodies, pyjamas, dungarees, onesies, bibs, sleeping bags, playing blankets a newborn pack, and others. Play elements such as fish embroideries that open their mouth, lions that roar or donkeys with long mane and tail to hang from, are designed into the clothes. Each garment is meant to be viewed by its mirror, the twin brother or sister, who will, after all, be the one who spends most time looking at it.
Whilst not cheap, they do deliver to Ireland. Sizing ranges from newborn to 4 years. Maybe something to keep in mind should you be purchasing a gift for a parent to twins or if someone you is expecting twins.
